Monday, tomorrow, is our field trip! DO NOT forget your permission slips. Be prepared to learn some Fremont history!
Also, make sure your "alternative" greeting cards are complete for our novel unit, Rules of the Road. We will continue reading on Tuesday in class. Stay caught up in your chapter packets. Keep an eye open for my example book study posted for future reference. Perhaps some of yours will be examples too!

Cemetery Project
For those of you in my grad class, this post is really for my students who have started accessing this site.
On Monday, November 1st, we will be going to Ridge Cemetery here in Fremont, Nebraska. The goals while visiting will be completely cross-curricular. Students, you will rotate to six different stations, starting with your GREAT time teacher's class. A bit of Fremont history will be shared with you, and you will also be required to complete a task in your hand-outs. The information compiled in the morning at the cemetery, including your headstone rubbings, will be used in all four of your core classes in the afternoon to complete assignments. Feel free to do a little Fremont research on your long weekend and make sure to bundle up for Monday's field trip!!
